The 7th Istanbul Economy Summit was held on December 8–9, 2023, at the Çırağan Palace under the theme “Sustainable Living and Smart Cities.” The summit brought together prominent figures and companies from around the world, providing a platform to discuss sustainable energy solutions.
At the summit, Hydrogenix presented the use of hydrogen energy in vehicles and its environmental benefits to the attendees. The company’s booth was visited by many distinguished guests, including the Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, and the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Mr. Ersin Tatar. During her visit to the booth, Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, Ms. Fatma Şahin, emphasized the importance of Gaziantep being the first city to introduce hydrogen-powered buses into public transportation.
Hydrogenix was honored with an award at the summit for its impactful presentations and contributions to hydrogen energy projects. This event once again highlighted the critical role of hydrogen in future energy policies and encouraged the support of innovative solutions within the sector.
